| The Dialogue
between Japan-ASEAN Economic Ministers and the Federation of Japanese
Chambers of Commerce and Industry in ASEAN (FJCCIA) |
- The Dialogue between ASEAN Economic Ministers(AEM),
Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan, and the Federation of
Japanese Chambers of Commerce and Industry in ASEAN (FJCCIA) was held
in KL on 9th of July.
- This was the first meeting of Japan-ASEAN Economic
Ministers held after the Great East Japan Earthquake as part of the
Asia Economic Strategy. In addition, the first attempt to hold a
discussion between the private and government sectors with Japan and
ASEAN Economic Ministers’ attendance was successfully carried out. The
discussion focused on the improvement of the business
environment especially the expansion and strengthening of the
production and sales network in ASEAN.
