Gazing at the Contemporary World: Japanese Photography from the 1970s to the Present |
On September 11th (Wednesday) an opening ceremony for a traveling exhibition titled “Gazing at the Contemporary World: Japanese Photography from the 1970s to the Present” was held at Perpustakaan Kuala Lumpur. This exhibition is an overview of the diverse photographic expression that has emerged in Japan since the 1970s to this day. The exhibition includes 76 photographs by 23 photographers with two themes, “Changing Society” and “Changing Landscapes”. Admission is free of charge.
