Calling Japanese Tea-Lovers – Experience the Japanese tea ceremony complete with authentic Japanese green tea and complementary traditional Japanese snacks!
Embassy of Japan in Malaysia is organizing an in-house Japanese tea ceremony on 22nd September 2010. Come and participate in the unique experience of the “Ryuurei-type” tea ceremony performed by Ura Senke, one of the leading Japanese tea schools. This tea ceremony style is specially designed for non-Japanese because you will be sitting on chairs instead of kneeling like the traditional Japanese. Details are as follows: Date: 22nd September 2010 (Wednesday) Time: First Session: 14:00 Second Session: 15:00 Venue: JIS Library 2nd Floor, Embassy of Japan in Malaysia No.11, Persiaran Stonor, Off Jalan Tun Razak, 50450 Kuala Lumpur Admission: Free Participation requirements: Only registered persons will be admitted (Maximum 15 participants for each session).
