As part of the 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic
Relations between Japan and Malaysia, a number of special Calligraphy
lectures and workshops were held by Ms. Ransetsu Ozawa –a highly
regarded calligrapher from Japan. The event took place at University
Pendedikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) on the 27th October, also at Universiti
Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Japanese Ambassador’s Residence on the 30th
October. The events were well attended and many students eagerly tried
their hand at Japanese calligraphy during the
workshops.
