SAKURA COLLECTION 2014 ASIA STUDENTS AWARD in MALAYSIA

On 18 September, the SAKURA COLLECTION 2014 ASIA STUDENTS AWARD in MALAYSIA which was co-organized by the Embassy of Japan and Adventure Japan was held at Tokyo Street, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The SAKURA COLLECTION 2014 ASIA STUDENTS AWARD is a fashion design contest under the theme 'Japan' for students studying fashion design.

There were 10 finalists who participated in the competition with the first prize winner invited to compete in the SAKURA COLLECTION 2014 to be held in Osaka this October.

Mr. Shogo Kariyazaki, a famous Japanese floral arrangement artist, was one of the judges of the competition. After the competition, Mr. Kariyazaki conducted an ikebana demonstration. The audience was fascinated by his splendid yet fine and creative style of ikebana.
