On October 20,“SAKURA COLLETION 2015 ASIA STUDENTS AWARD in
Malaysia”co-organized by the Embassy of Japan and Adventure JAPAN was
held in Aka Cochin Izakaya, Pavilion KL. It is a fashion design contest
under the theme “Japan” for all non-Japanese students or amateur
designers.
There were 10 finalists who participated in the
competition and Ms. Stefanie Ng, an amateur designer won the Grand Prix
with her design “Metamorphosis”.
Ms. Bisen Aoyagi, a well-known
calligrapher from Japan was specially invited to attend the event and
her demonstration added grace to the contest.
The creative and fresh pieces were very enthusiastically received by the audience.
