Ambassador and Mrs. Miyagawa attended Kota Kinabalu Japanese Speech Contest

     On Saturday, the 10th of December, Ambassador and Mrs. Miyagawa, visiting Kota Kinabalu, attended Kota Kinabalu Japanese Speech Contest which was co-hosted by the Consular Office of Japan in Kota Kinabalu and University  Malaysia Sabah as part of the 60th Anniversary events of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Malaysia. The contest was held for the first time in Sabah to raise motivation of and improve skills of local Japanese learners. It is under consideration to make it an annual event.
     13 contestants made speeches in front of approximately 150 audiences including students of the university as well as local residents.
