The Japanese Decoration Conferred upon Dato’ Md Taib bin Abdul Hamid

It has been decided that “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon （旭日中綬章:きょくじつちゅうじゅしょう）”is to be conferred upon Dato’ Md Taib bin Abdul Hamid, the Vice President of the Malaysia-Japan Economic Association (MAJECA), by His Majesty the Emperor of Japan.

The Japanese decoration is bestowed in recognition of his outstanding contribution toward the economic cooperation between Japan and Malaysia including those efforts rendered as the executive member of MAJECA for long years.

The ceremony to present the decoration will be held in Malaysia on a later date, which will be announced in due course.
