| Doraemon, the Anime
Ambassador's Visit to
Malaysia |

Doraemon and Nobita appeared in the Weekend Japanese Film Show on Saturday, 17th January, which was co-organized by the Embassy of Japan and the Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur at Malaysian National Film Development Cooperation (FINAS).
Doraemon has
been assigned as
the Anime Ambassador to introduce Japan all over the world since March
2008 and he came to Malaysia in conjunction with the screening of the
Doraemon Movie, Nobita's dinosaur 2006. Doraemon met the Japanese
Ambassador H.E.Mr. Horie on the stage and the two Ambassdors had a
short conversation. Doraemon said that he loved Malaysia and he had
been to Malaysia many times through his "Dokodemo-Door". The theater
was full of young kids and their families grinned with delight.
