Embassy of Japan in Kuala Lumpur would like to recruit a local staff for the position of Secretary in the Japan Information Service (JIS) section. Details are as follows:

Position: Secretary to Public Information Officer

Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen or those who hold qualified status to work in Malaysia.
• Excellent translation skills from Mandarin to English; possess some level of proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia (translation from Bahasa Malaysia to English when necessary).
•  Able to draft letters, speeches, press releases, etc. in English.
•  Some proficiency in Japanese language preferable.
•  Basic skills in using computer programs such as MS Office, Excel.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm (lunch break: 12:30pm to 1:30pm)

Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience and qualification)
