Recruitment of Media & PR Liaison at the Embassy of Japan in Kuala Lumpur (1 vacancy) Job Description: • Daily newspaper clippings • Prepare daily & monthly reports • Translate articles & editorials from Mandarin / Bahasa Malaysia to English / Japanese • Draft PR materials (official letters, speeches, messages and press releases) in English • Other PR-related duties Requirements: • Malaysian citizen below 30 years old • Excellent translation skills in Mandarin, English & Japanese • Study experience in Japan is preferable • Ability to work under minimal supervision Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm (lunch hour: 12:30pm to 1:30pm) Salary: To commensurate with experience and qualification Deadline for application: 21 May 2014 All applicants should submit their resume with a passport-sized photograph by email to: job@kl.mofa.go.jp (Kindly indicate “Media & PR Liaison” position in your email subject) *Only shortlisted candidates will be notified to be called for an interview and written test. |
