Plenary Meeting
(1) About the Committee
To implement
events and activities for the 30th anniversary of the Look
East Policy, Malaysia-Japan Committee for the 30th Anniversary of the
Look East Policy has been established on December 2011. The
Co-chairpersons of this committee are Mr. Koichi Ito, Minister of Japan
to Malaysia, and Dato’ Mohd Tajudin Bin Don, Director, Human Capital
Development Division, Public Service Department Malaysia, and the
advisors of this committee are Mr. Takashi Hibi, Chairman of JACTIM,
Mr. Keiichi Izumi, Chairman of JCKL and H.E. Mr. Shigeru Nakamura,
Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia. Under the Plenary meeting, regional
meetings have been established in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor bahru and
Kota Kinabalu.
The Plenary meeting will oversee all events recommended by each
Regional meeting as well as the inclusion endorsement, promotion of
events and the approach to related organizations.
