Guidelines for Malaysia-Japan Committee for the 30th Anniversary of the Look East Policy |
Elements to be
considered by the Plenary Meeting when it approves 30th Anniversary
activities/events are as follows.
1. Requirements for Endorsement (1) The event will take place in Malaysia between 1 January and 31 December in principle. (2) The purpose of the event is to raise public awareness on the Look East Policy and/or promote people-to-people understanding and friendship between Malaysia and Japan. (3) Cultural events or events of corporate social responsibility by private companies may be considered as 30th Anniversary Events. (4) Events for campaigning political or religious claims will not be considered as 30th Anniversary Events. (5) 30th Anniversary Events must not offend public order or decency. 2. Privileges of Endorsed Events (1) Event organizers will be entitled to use the official name “30th Anniversary of the Look East Policy Event” and official logo for the promotion of their events in posters, pamphlets, websites, signboards and banners. (2) Endorsed events will be listed in the official calendar of the 30th Anniversary of the Look East Policy Events. 3. Process of Application & Endorsement (1) Please submit your completed application form as well as supporting documents either by fax or mail. We might request for a presentation on the event, if necessary. (2) Should your event be approved for endorsement, a notice of acceptance from the Executive Committee of the Malaysia-Japan Committee for the 30th Anniversary of the Look East Policy shall be sent to you and you will be receiving the data of the official logo. (3) Listing on the Official Calendar of the 30th Anniversary of the Look East Policy Events: Accepted events will be compiled with particulars provided by the event organizer and made public through the Official Calendar of Events. Direct link will be added for events which own a website. 5. Event Report Upon completion of the event, event organizer is required to submit an event report detailing the content of event, response of participants and result of event, etc., to the secretariat of sub - committee to which you applied. |
