Gracing Ceremony of Second Japanese grant MMEA Offshore Patrol Vessel (KM Arau)

    On 15th July, the second offshore patrol vessel donated by Japan to MMEA was named at a ceremony held at National Hydrographic Center in Port Klang.
     The patrol vessel was named "KM Arau" by Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail, Raja of Perlis. The plaque sent to Datuk Zulkifli Director General of MMEA from Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, prince of Perlis, Datuk Seri Azlan Man, Chief Minister of Perlis, Dato‘ Seri Dr Shahidan Kassim, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Malaysia and Dr Makio MIYAGAWA, Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia also attended this ceremony.   
    2017 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Malaysia. This event is a memorable and suitable to commemorate the 60th anniversary. From now also, Japan will cooperate with Malaysia and strive to ensure the safety of the waters surrounding Malaysia.
