   The Government of Japan has decided to extend financial aid to Pertubuhan Keluarga Orang-Orang Bermasalah Pembelajaran (PERKOBP), an NGO in Kuala Lumpur, under its Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme, for “the Project for Construction of Building for Persons with Learning Difficulties.” The grant contract between the Embassy of Japan and PERKOBP was signed on 18th February 2010.

   

                                     

   PERKOBP offers help and training to families in the caring of around 50 persons with learning difficulties. With this donation for construction of a new building, PERKOBP will be able to improve standards of sheltered workshop, care and living environment for persons with leaning difficulties.
