On 29 April 2015, the Government of Japan announced the foreign recipients of the 2015 Spring Imperial Decorations. Among 85 foreign recipients is Dato’ Sri Ee Hoe Lee, Group Managing Director, Apple Group of Companies. Dato’ Sri Ee Hoe Lee is bestowed upon the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays, in recognition of his long standing contributions in the development and promotion of tourism between Japan and Malaysia.
