The Japan Maritime Self-Defence
Force’s “MAKINAMI (DD-112)” and “SUZUNAMI (DD-114)” of the Escort
Division 3 made a port call at Kota Kinabalu Naval Base from 25th to
28th April. On 27th April 2016, Ambassador Miyagawa visited vessels and
had a privilege opportunity to celebrate Royal Malaysian Navy’s 82nd
Anniversary Day Parade with officers and men of ED3.
