The Government of Japan has donated a total of RM 234,119 (US$ 74,441) to “Persatuan Mobiliti Selangor dan Kuala Lumpur (Mobiliti)” under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects. The handing over ceremony was held on 26th November. The details of the project are as follows;

Recipient: Persatuan Mobiliti Selangor dan Kuala Lumpur (Mobiliti)

The Handing over ceremony was held on 26th November in the Malaysian Association of the Blind (MAB) building. The event began with a speech of appreciation by Mr. Wong Nam Sang, President of Mobiliti, followed by speeches by H.E. Dr. Makio MIYAGAWA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Malaysia, and YB Senator Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development.
It is hoped that this project will facilitate more social interaction for wheel chair users.
