On April 1, Ambassador Miyagawa paid a courtesy call on Y.Bhg. Dato’ Sri Dr. Haji Ismail Bin Haji Ahmad, Secretary General, Ministry of Defence. During the courtesy call, they had a discussion on defence cooperation between Japan and Malaysia. With regard to the disappearance of MH370, Dr Ismail expressed his gratitude to Japan for its contribution towards the search activities.
