On 21 November, Ambassador
Dr. Miyagawa attended the 50th anniversary ceremony held at the
Japanese School of Kuala Lumpur and delivered a congratulatory address.
It
was a grand memorial event attended by 800 persons including students,
staff, parents and guardians and representatives of the Malaysian
government, the Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur and the Japanese Chamber of
Trade & Industry, Malaysia.
As part of the ceremony,
memorial tree planting took place, which Chinese fringe flowers were
planted by Ambassador Dr. Miyagawa and other attending guests.
