On 9th November, Ambassador Miyagawa attended the Opening
Ceremony of “MJIIT Japan Day 2017” hosted by the Malaysia - Japan
International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), and met with Y.B. Dato’
Seri Idris Jusoh, Minister of Higher Education, and participants of the
event. Ambassador Miyagawa expressed in his speech congratulations on
achievements of MJIIT playing a central role in collaborations between
Japan and Malaysia, and also extended his gratitude for contributions
by Japanese companies and Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. With celebrating 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Malaysia, the two special events were also held in this year’s MJIIT Japan Day; “Budo (Japanese traditional martial arts) seminar and demonstration” by Nippon Budo-Kan delegation and “Japan Graduates Symposium” by researchers and business persons who graduated from Japanese universities. These events will further elevate the presence of MJIIT as a promotion hub for Japanese culture and a platform for collaboration between Malaysian researchers, Japanese universities and industries in the region. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Budo Seminar and Demonstration ![]() Japan Graduates Symposium (Photos 1,3,6,7 are provided by MJIIT) |
