On 23rd March,
based on the request by the Malaysian Government, two P3C aircrafts
departed Subang Airbase for Perth, Australia. On 24th March, one of the
P3C started its SAR operations offshore southwest Australia. At the award ceremony of Japanese Government scholarships, which was held at the Japanese Ambassador’s residence, Ambassador Miyagawa had an interview with BERNAMA. When asked about the Prime Minister’s statement that the MH370 had ended in the southern Indian Ocean, Ambassador Miyagawa said “We heard the statement by Prime Minister Najib with grief and agony, and we offer our profound sympathies to the Malaysian Government and the people. Our hearts and mind have always been with the Malaysian Government and the people in this very agonizing incident” This interview was reported on 25th March by BERNAMA. |
