Minister H.E. Mr Ishii attended the opening ceremony of the ASEAN regional training center for VTS operators together with Dato' Sri Liow Tiong Lai, Minister for Transport of Malaysia and Dr Makio Miyagawa, Japanese Ambassador to Malaysia.

     Minister H.E. Mr Ishii had a courtesy call on Dato’Sri Mohd. Najib Bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia, and had bilateral meetings with Dato' Johari Abdul Ghani, Second Minister of Finance, and Dato' Sri Liow Tiong Lai, Minister for Transport of Malaysia to promote the Japanese high speed rail system for the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore high speed rail project.
