Three years ago today, the Great East Japan Earthquake struck Japan and caused unprecedented damage to our nation.
On behalf of the Government and people of Japan, the Embassy of
Japan in Malaysia expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Government
of Malaysia and its people for all the generous support extended and
sympathy expressed during our most difficult time.
Japan will further make its utmost efforts to accelerate reconstruction
of affected areas. It will move forward to build a resilient nation, as
inspired by the lessons learned from this disaster.
