Lectures by Professor Shin Kawashima, University of Tokyo

       The Embassy of Japan invited Professor Shin Kawashima from University of Tokyo as a guest speaker and held two lectures, one with Institute of Malaysian and International Studies (IKMAS) of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and another with Institutes of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia on 13 March. Professor Kawashima gave his talks under the title of "China-Japan relations in the context of current competition between China and the United States" both at UKM and ISIS. Many government officials, intellectuals, scholars, students, diplomats and others attended and enjoyed lively question-answer sessions followed by informative lectures.
