Ambassador Shikata attended Nikkei forum Medini, Johor 2025

On June 18th (Wednesday) and 19th (Thursday), Ambassador Shikata attended the "Nikkei Forum Medini, Johor 2025."
The forum brought together leaders and experts from various fields, both domestically and internationally, including the Prime Minister of Malaysia and the Chief Minister of Johor. Discussions focused on the future prospects and challenges of Johor's burgeoning sectors, such as finance, the digital economy, technology, renewable energy, and education and human resource development.
Ambassador Shikata delivered a speech on strengthening cooperation between Japan and Malaysia, particularly Johor, in three key areas: green investment, transportation, and education.
