Receiving the Honorary Doctorate Degree from University Selangor (Unisel)

On 27 October, 2018, Ambassador Dr. Makio Miyagawa received the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science from University Selangor (Unisel) at the 13th Convocation Ceremony. A tree planting ceremony also took place at the campus.
Unisel is the Malaysia’s first state-owned university established in 1999. Ambassador Miyakawa is the first Japanese to be awarded the honorary doctorate degree from Unisel.
