Japan Reaffirms Commitment to Asia’s Decarbonization at ASEAN Green Transformation Forum

ASEAN Green Transformation (GX) Sustainability Forum 2025 took place in KL on 1 October 2025, organized by Mitsusho Sdn Bhd. The Forum brought together Malaysian and Japanese companies and agencies to share their innovations in green business in ASEAN and Japan in sectors ranging from energy transformation to biomass and biofuel for industrial development.
Along with the CEO of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) YBhg. Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim, Minister of Embassy of Japan Nihei Daisuke gave a special address to congratulate the organizers of this Forum and reiterated Japan’s commitment to contribute to Asia’s decarbonization, energy transition and energy security in various ways including through Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC).
