Ambassador Oka Online Meet & Greet with Students of KAKEHASHI Project 2020

On 28th October 2020, Ambassador Oka joined an online ceremony to ‘Meet and Greet’ 14 Malaysian students who will be visiting Japan to participate “the KAKEHASHI Project 2020”. Ambassador Oka took this moment to congratulate them and wish them well for their fruitful journey to pursue their study in Japan.
This KAKEHASHI Project, announced during the Nikkei Seminar, “Future of Asia” in June 2017, intends to build a bridge that connects the future of Japan and Asia including Malaysia. Japanese Government provides opportunities for Asian high school students learning Japanese to study in Japan at a scale of 1,000 students in total from 2018 to 2023. So far 37 Malaysian high school students joined the Project.
