Ambassador Oka attended Welcome Ceremony of the 46th ship for Southeast Asia and Japanese Youth Programme (SSEAYP)

On the 29th of November, Ambassador Oka attended Welcome Ceremony of “the 46th Ship for Southeast Asia and Japanese Youth Programme (SSEAYP)”held on shipboard when it made a port call in Malaysia, and greeted about 300 participants from ASEAN countries and Japan together with Y.B. Tuan Syed Saddiq Bin Syed Abdul Rahman, Minister of Youth and Sports.SSEAYP has been conducted every year since 1974 for mutual understanding of the youth of Japan and ASEAN countries, and so far more than 12,000 people have joined the voyage.
