On June 1, Ambassador Takahashi paid a courtesy visit on Dato’ Sri Mohd Shafiq Abdullah, Director General of the Public Services Malaysia.
At the meeting, Ambassador Takahashi expressed his appreciation for the close cooperation of the Public Services Malaysia (JPA) with Japan through its study-in-Japan program for students, which has been a foundation of the Look East Policy. In addition, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations between Japan and Malaysia, seizing the opportunity of the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy this year.
