2023 Autumn Conferment of Decorations

On the 3rd of November, the Government of Japan announced recipients of decorations for the 2023 Autumn Imperial Conferment. Among the recipients, the following are the dignitary within the area of jurisdiction of the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia, who received decoration for his outstanding contributions to Japan-Malaysia relationships:
1. Mr. Kumaraguru Ramayah
* Associate Professor, Language Academy, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)
Services: Contributed to the promotion of Japanese language education in Malaysia and intercultural understanding between Japan and Malaysia
Decoration: The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette
