Conferment Ceremony of the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold and Silver Rays upon Ms. Lalitha Ramaswamy Iyer, former local employee, Embassy of Japan in Malaysia

On the 4th of April, the Embassy of Japan hosted a conferment ceremony for Ms. Lalitha Ramaswamy Iyer, former local employee, Embassy of Japan in Malaysia, who received The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold and Silver Rays, as 2021 Spring Conferment of Decorations for foreign recipients.
Ms. Lalitha Ramaswamy Iyer started working at the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia in 1981. After working as a receptionist for about 10 years, she became Ambassador’s personal assistant and worked in that position until 2018. She greatly contributed to the Embassy’s daily work with her wide network of connections.
The prestigious Order was conferred in recognition of her invaluable support for the diplomatic activity of the Embassy to enhance the bilateral relations between Japan and Malaysia.
