On September 28, The Conferment Ceremony of 2018 Spring Imperial Decorations for foreign recipients was held at the Japanese Ambassador’s Residence. Tan Sri Dato Dr Francis Yeoh Sock Ping received the Imperial decoration “Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette.
Tan Sri Francis Yeoh as a YTL managing director from 1988 has built partners year after year with many Japanese companies starting operations in Malaysia and also actively invested in Japanese real estate business sectors, and contributed to the increase of interactive investment between Japan and Malaysia. Tan Sri also made a remarkable contribution to promoting tourism exchange business in Japan through investment in Tourism Industry in Japan.
He was conferred the order in recognition of his contribution to promoting tourism and strengthening economic relations between Japan and Malaysia.
