On 29th January, Ambassador SHIKATA Noriyuki attended the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony between Alumni Look East Policy Society (ALEPS) & Haro Sports & Entertainment, regarding the ALEPS Ekiden 2026. The MoU was signed to formalize cooperation between ALEPS and Haro Sports & Entertainment, the promoter of the Super GT Malaysia event, in view of the organization of ALEPS Ekiden 2026 by ALEPS at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit, where the Super GT Malaysia race will be held.
In his speech, Ambassador Shikata expressed his deep respect and appreciation to both organizations for their efforts in realizing the collaboration between Super GT and ALEPS Ekiden. He also conveyed his hope that, through this partnership, cooperation and friendship between Japan and Malaysia will continue to grow and deepen through both events.
The Super GT Malaysia race will be held from June 20 to 21, while ALEPS Ekiden will take place on June 20, both at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit.
