Ambassador OKA delivered a Lecture at National Resilience College (NRC)

On 2nd March, Ambassador OKA delivered a Lecture regarding “Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP)” to 20 course participants (Colonel and Brigadier General rank) at NRC. In the lecture, Ambassador OKA explained Japan’s perspective of the current international affairs, overview of the FOIP, Japan’s view of the “ASEAN Outlook on Indo Pacific (AOIP)” and activities and cooperation of Ministry of Defense Jpaan/Japan Self- Defense Force and Japan Coast Guard. The lecture became a good oppotunity for promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and Malaysia with many questions risen from the course participants. Ambassador OKA also had a meeting with MG Dato’ Hj Md Yusof Bin Aziz, Commandant, NRC and exchanged opinions on Japan and Malaysia relations.
