Ambassador Oka’s meeting with Prof. Madya Kumaraguru of UTM

On 30th April, Ambassador Oka had a meeting with Prof. Madya Kumaraguru A/L Ramayah, University Technology Malaysia (UTM), who is responsible for Japanese language courses at UTM in Johor. Prof. Madya Kumaraguru took bachelor's and master's degrees in Japanese language education at the University of Tsukuba.
Prof. Madya Kumaraguru explained that many students who learned Japanese at UTM have been employed in Japan by head offices of Japanese companies. Ambassador Oka and Prof. Madya Kumaraguru exchanged views on the current state of Japanese language education in Malaysia and measures to further enhance the Japanese language education.
