Conferment Ceremony of the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Silver Rays upon Ms. Wong Wai Chun, former local employee, Embassy of Japan in Malaysia

On 24th April, the Embassy of Japan hosted a conferment ceremony for Ms. Wong Wai Chun, a former local employee, Embassy of Japan in Malaysia, who received The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Silver Rays, as 2025 Autumn Conferment of Decorations for foreign recipients.
Ms. Wong Wai Chun served as a staff member at JIS(Japan Information Service) of the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia from 2000 to 2025. She has made great contributions to the facilitating the Embassy’s cultural diplomacy.
The prestigious Order was conferred in recognition of her invaluable support for diplomatic activities of the Embassy to enhance the bilateral relations between Japan and Malaysia.
