Ambassador Takahashi’s lecture on the 40th Anniversary of the Look East Policy at MJRC in UM

On 1 December, Ambassador Takahashi gave a lecture on the 40th Anniversary of the Look East Policy (LEP) at Malaysia-Japan Research Centre (MJRC) in Universiti Malaysia (UM). In his lecture titled "LEP: 40 Years and Beyond," Ambassador Takahashi looked back on the history of the policy in the past 40 years and discussed its future.
After the lecture, there was a handover ceremony of the Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Project of Japan for the development of MJRC (76,063 dollars). Ambassador Takahashi had a tour with Toh Puan Dato’ Seri Hajjah Dr. Aishah Ong, Pro-Chancellor of the newly refurbished and upgraded rooms and equipment.
