Malaysia AEON Scholarship Award Ceremony
2025/12/5
On 4th December, Minister Nihei attended and delivered a congratulatory speech at the Malaysia AEON Scholarship Award Ceremony.
The AEON 1% Club Foundation considers "promoting friendship and goodwill with other countries" one of its main business areas, and as part of that, has supported students from Malaysia and other Asian countries for 2 decades. Many of its alumni have gone on to play active roles in various fields, serving as bridges between their home countries and Japan. This year, 12 students each from Universiti Malaya (UM) and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) were awarded scholarships.
In his congratulatory speech, Minister Nihei expressed his gratitude to the AEON 1% Club Foundation for its long-standing support, encouraged the scholarship recipients to pursue their studies with curiosity and confidence to take advantage of the opportunity, and expressed his hopes that they will contribute to the friendly relations between Japan and Malaysia.
