Ambassador Oka had a courtesy call on Minister of Youth and Sports

       On 4 February, Ambassador Oka had a courtesy call on YB Syed Saddiq bin Syed Abdul Rahman, Minister of Youth and Sports, and exchanged views on various issues including youth exchanges and sports exchanges between Japan and Malaysia. Ambassador informed to Minister that 14 Japanese high school students would come to Malaysia in early March under Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS Programme). In response, Minister shared an episode that when he was a secondary school student, Japanese high school students visited his school every year and he always longed for cultural exchange activities with those Japanese students.
