The Visit to Malaysia by Mr. WADA Masamune, Parliamentary Vice Minister, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism

From the 13th to 15th of January 2020, Mr. WADA Masamune, Parliamentary Vice Minister, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) visited Malaysia.
On the 14th in the morning, Vice Minister Wada and Ambassador Oka had a bilateral meeting with YB Dato' Kamardin Jaffar, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Transport (MOT), and agreed to strengthen cooperation between both countries in transport sector. Then, Vice Minister Wada attended the Transport Technology Seminar co-hosted by MLIT and MOT, and introduced so-called Soft-infra and MaaS (Mobility as a Service) in Japan. Soft-infra, which is the base to support Hard-infrastructure, includes regulations and standard, technology, operation and capacity building.
In the afternoon of the 14th, Vice Minister Wada attended the Handover ceremony for e-learning system at ASEAN Regional Training Centre for VTS（Vessel Traffic Service）.
