Visit by Ambassador Oka to Sekolah Rendah Agama Integrasi Seksyen 19 Shah Alam

On the 27th of February, Ambassador Oka visited Sekolah Rendah Agama Integrasi Seksyen 19 Shah Alam (SRAI S19) in Selangor. SRAI S19 is the school which one of the participants of “the visiting programme to Japan for teachers of Islamic schools in Malaysia Year 2019” serves in.
During the visit, Ambassador Oka made a speech in front of the teachers of the school and representatives from Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) present there and signed a memorial board to launch Amal Khair (charity) Programme which has been implemented as the fruits of the visiting programme. Further, Ambassador Oka looked around the school, talked with pupils while sitting on a chair in a classroom and interacted with the teachers and pupils.
The visiting programme has been conducted in Malaysia since 2016 for cultural and educational exchanges, and a total of 40 persons from 8 states in Malaysia have joined so far.
