On 25 February, Ambassador and Madam Takahashi attended the 40th Anniversary of the Look East Policy Gala Dinner, organized by Alumni Look East Policy Society (ALEPS). In his speech, Ambassador Takahashi expressed his appreciation and gratitude to ALEPS for organizing this valuable event, as well as looked back on the history of the policy in the past 40 years and discussed its future.
More than 700 people, including Y.B. Tuan Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry and Y. B. Dato’ Dr. Haji Megat Sany, Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Higher Education celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy.
