Ambassador Shikata attended the 2nd Malaysia Kyudo Taikai 2026

On 4th October, Ambassador SHIKATA Noriyuki attended the 2nd Malaysia Kyudo Taikai 2026. The Taikai was held to improve Kyudo skills in Malaysia and deepen friendships among practitioners. It featured 42 individual competitors and 6 teams from three Kyudo dojos in Malaysia.
In his speech at the closing ceremony, Ambassador Shikata extended his deep gratitude and respect to the participants, conveying his pride in the development of Kyudo in Malaysia. He also expressed his high expectations for their continued improvement toward competing in the 5th World Kyudo Taikai to be held in Tokyo in November 2028 and commended their outstanding efforts, while also presenting awards to the top-performing individuals and teams at the award ceremony.
