Ambassador Miyagawa attended the Launching Ceremony of the Japanese Cenotaph

1. On the 2nd of May, Ambassador Miyagawa attended the launching ceremony of the Japanese cenotaph built in the Kuala Lumpur Japanese cemetery. Attendants include Mr. Keiji Furuya, Chairman of the Japan-Malaysia Parliamentary Friendship Association, Mr. Koichi Ogawa, Chief Director, and Mr. Takashi Moribayashi, Director of Japan-Malaysia Association from Japan, as well as representatives of Japan Clubs of various regions of Malaysia.
2. In his remark, Ambassador Miyagawa expressed his sincere appreciation to all who supported building of the cenotaph and stressed significance of remembering the footprints of a number of people who passed away in Malaysia through paying tribute to them.
