Official Visit by Ambassador Takahashi to the state of Pahang

From August 2nd to 5th, Ambassador Takahashi and Madam Takahashi made an official visit to Pahang and had an audience with His Royal Highness Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al Mustafa Billah Shah, the Regent of Pahang. YAB Dato’ Sri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, Chief Minister of Pahang, and Dato’ Indera Haji Zulkifli bin Haji Ya’acob, Pahang State Secretary, accompanied to the audience.
At the meeting, they confirmed the cordial relations built between Japan and Pahang in the fields of economic, technical cooperation, education and culture. They also exchanged views on further cooperation, especially in environmental preservation.
During his visit to Pahang, Ambassador Takahashi and Madam Takahashi also attended the launching event of “Pahang in Nature” by Her Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda The Raja Permaisuri Agong. They also visited Kuantan 188 Tower, Kaneka Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Cherating Sea Turtle Sanctuary, and Akademi Maritim Sultan Ahmad Shah (AMSAS).
