On July 29th (Tuesday), Ambassador Shikata attended " MUFG Semiconductor Seminar" in Penang.

Ambassador Shikata delivered a keynote address highlighting the importance of further advancing Malaysia’s semiconductor industry, a key driver of the country's economic growth. He also emphasized the need to strengthen Japan-Malaysia collaboration in strategic areas such as the development of highly skilled talent, Green Transformation (GX), Digital Transformation (DX), and other cutting-edge technologies including AI.
