Japanese Culture Workshop held at Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Kuantan
2026/9/7
On 6 September, the Embassy of Japan organized a Japanese cultural event at the Museum of Contemporary Art(MOCA) in Kuantan.
This event was held as part of Temasya Warisan Pahang 2026, which took place from 29 August to 7 September. Temasya Warisan Pahang 2026 celebrated Pahang State's rich heritage, living traditions, arts, crafts, and cultural expressions, while also providing a platform for international cultural exchange and friendship. As part of the programme, our Embassy conducted workshops on tea ceremony, koto (Japanese traditional stringed instrument), and origami to promote interest in Japanese culture in Pahang State.
It is hoped that this event will serve as an opportunity to further deepen mutual understanding between Japan and Malaysia, and to promote interest in Japanese culture and understanding of Japan in Pahang state.
