Ambassador SHIKATA paid an Introductory Call on Dato’ Yubazlan Haji Yusof, Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia

On the 6th of November, H.E. SHIKATA Noriyuki, who newly arrived as Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia, paid an introductory call on Dato’ Yubazlan Haji Yusof, Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
At the meeting, Ambassador SHIKATA submitted an authentic copy of the Letter of Credentials and stated that he will strongly support Malaysia as the ASEAN Chair for 2025 and would like to contribute to further strengthening the cordial bilateral relations between Japan and Malaysia. In response, Dato’ Yubazlan expressed his welcome and best wishes to Ambassador SHIKATA on his new assumption of his office.
